Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
I have been so busy I haven't been able to post. But here I am to post catch up with you.
First photo is the doiley I finally restarted , I'm on row 4 , it needs to be soaked in hot water and blocked but I will do all of that when I finish the 6 th round. It is the challenge doiley called
Under An African Sky , designed by Jane McLellan. I am finding it to be easy to do and very relaxing. I'm loving every minute of it.
These are quilted stocking I made a few weeks ago for 3 of my grandkids. I got the inclination from
A video I saw on Google+ Of Missouri Quilt Company. I modified it a little bit, I quilted the front and back on the batting without a backing and lined them with the pretty candy cane fabric below. And even though I didn't have time to make lace for them I was able to find this gorgeous lace trim.
I wish you many showers of blessings this next year and for years to come!
Sincerely,
Denise Brant
Hello Denise,
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of Rainbow Splash thread for Under the African Sky doily. Glad you are enjoying it. Your quilted stockings are lovely.
Thank you. I will notify you when I post again. I really love this pattern so far but I will have to practice the blocking of the animals some more. And I'm still using the blue for the sky along with the rainbow splash.
DeleteHappy New year, Denise :-)
