My family left for a week !
I have a whole week off from babysitting and cleaning.
I am going to miss them though.
If it's not too hot I'm going to try to catch up on tatting and sewing.
Here are just a few things I have finished up this week.
This airplane was designed by Wanda Salmans and it had picots on the outer edge but I eliminated the picots , and I
still have to wash and block it.
And here are two items I tatted , the top triangle is something I tatted for the corner of my granddaughters keepsake hanky but it was too big.
The second is a neon pink nylon thread I found on sale at Walmart. It tatted up very nicely and it is about a size 10.
So you're on a staycation with tatting, hopefully, to keep you company :-) Nice work ! Especially the long chains on the airplane - I tend to mess up very long chains.
ReplyDeleteThank you . I looked everywhere for a pattern of an airplane I liked and when I stopped looking this one popped up on Pinterest. I love this one. The next one I make will be exactly as the pattern is written. I measure my chains, I messed up too many projects with bad chains so I started using Handy Hands picot gauge and It works great. If I tat something with longer chains I will use a piece of thread with markings on it to measure all of the chains.
